Still working on my mojo, and the newest digi from Power Poppy was the perfect one to get me coloring - easy coloring too. I used two cherry blossom branches and arranged them on my card inside a square and added one of the sweet sentiments that I will definitely use a lot. Who doesn't love to receive a "happy hello" card from a friend? I colored it very simply (and quickly) inspired by a photo I found on the internet, and then I tried my hand at "pointillism" around the branch for my shading. It's my first attempt, and I will definitely try it again. Then I trimmed my image and adhered it to a scalloped square die, and I adhered that to a 4½" square card base. It's simple and easy to mail, and I have already finished coloring another one to build up my stash.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look at my easy CAS card! I hope to keep on coloring. Have a beautiful week...and spring will eventually come and warm us all up! Hugs!
I just love flowering branches and this one most certainly is a stunner!!! Gorgeous coloring. Beautiful card! Big hugs my friend. I hope mojo returns soon, it's so hard to not feel like ourselves! Even with a lack of mojo, you create stunning cards!

Cheryl, this is such a gorgeous card with your wonderful coloring skills and a pretty scallop base to surround the main image. I hope as Spring arrives it will bring more inspiration your way!

Love this image - Japanese Cherry Blossoms. You have coloured them so beautifully and life like too. Now for the first attempt at pointillism - WOW is all I can say. What a beautiful job. This whole little master piece is beautifully frames in that lovely soft aqua. Just wonderful.

Another gorgeous card. Love the image. Have a lot of PowerPoppy digital stamps and now it looks like I need to get another. Love the color combination.

If this is what you get while finding your mojo...there is truly no need to search, you'd overwhelm our senses to the point we'd have to look away. Does this make sense to you. Your first attempt at pointillism, this to is perfect. I'd like an ounce of your talent.

Cheryl, your card is beautiful. The simple stamping of the cherry blossoms and perfect coloring is so pretty. Your shadowing the flowers with the blue is perfect. And that gorgeous scalloped card using the same color as the shadowing looks awesome. Lucky recipient!
