Second row from the bottom in the middle - the hand with the branch and leaves. I omitted the arm but tried to capture some of the busyness in the leaves with patterns and extra texture.
I did Ink Smooshing on the blue background with some aluminum foil swipped with blue ink that was splattered with white acrylic paint and water. Then I dipped in the paer. I did the same with green, brown and yellow inks also splattered with white acrylic paint and water - then I cut out the branches with dies and hand-cut the leaves. To add more interest to the hand-cut leaves, I used a stylus to make leaf veins and then outlined it all in Stickles that I sprinkled with sparkly clear EP and then heated. Some strange bubbling occurred but it looks super cool close up.
Stamped my sentiment and distressed everything with some Distress ink. Then I splattered everything with watered down Snowtex.
Sounds a little complicated but it wasn't.
Fun stuff - can't wait to see what everyone else came up with.

Just WOW, Nancy! The texture, color and artistry in this is off the charts! Someone sent me a pinterest link for this card and I saw it was you! What a technique and what fabulous results.

This is beautiful! Love the lush textures and the vintage, wintery feel you created with the warm brown tones and the splatters of white acrylic paint. Fun card! You have inspired me to pull out my white acrylic paint and give the splatters a try. TFS!
