The background started out with bisters. Since it was way too bright for winter, I opted to sponge in various memento blues, leaving only a bit of clouds showing. The bird was colored with copics and pencils and fussy cut. After cutting the branch, I used my MISTI to line up the bird on the branch and stamp again for placement. Glossy Accents were added to his eyes. The sentiment is Paper Smooches. Thanks for stopping by.

This makes me smile! Crazy bird's expression reminds me of so many pictures of little kiddos sitting on Santa's lap for the first time - lots of uncertainty, but a holiday ritual.

Hi Nancy, I have just not been able to get into these birds, that is until now. LOVE what you did with this little guy. The background and colors are wonderful, and now they make the dies for them too! I might just have to rethink this one......thanks for the inspiration!

This little fella's card colors look crisp and cheerful, just perfect for putting up on a mantle on a chilly Christmas Eve! It might have given me a tad incentive to do holiday cards this year...
