The F4A Challenge was to have a lot of black(or VERY dark color) on our card. My piece of black bg CS had lots thrown at it: Brushos(not too successful), acrylic spray(the dark "splash" you see), bleach(I was running out of ideas). I didn't want the card to become too funereal so I did surround the image panel with white.
I did twist the MIX112 challenge a bit to be the "first night of the first day of spring" The flowers and framing are bright spring colors and goodness knows, I used enough on this card to meet the mixed media part of the challenge. : )
Lee Ann is the Queen today and I was inspired by this card although much on mine is changed.

Gorgeous mixed media black cardstock. I have never thought to try getting inky with black! Really cool and artsy effect. Love your poppies and bright green die cut sentiment too. TFS Sallie.
