This for the ribbon scrap challenge and a birthday card for my favorite card class teacher Diann. She is so generous with her time and she is such a lovely person and good friend. This card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest and I put it in a folder on my computer. If the creator of this design sees this and will pm me, I will give you credit! It was such a fun card to do and so not one of my usual creations..
:-) It is always hard for me to offset things...I always want to do straight little soldiers.
The EF is called Pinstripes, (I really did not use this on my other card with similar stripes...I DID score that one) the tag is a Marianne Design, The butterfly is a Simon Says (the body is Elizabeth Craft), the scalloped edge die is SU and the square was made with the Spellbinder square die set. The sheer dotted ribbon scrap is from who knows where... I colored my half pearls with a copic to match my paper color! The Birthday wishes is from SU. Both the pink and striped layer are popped up using dimensionals. I did not have a banner die so I hand made this one using the square punch to make the banner end...
This is also for the Simon Says "Anything Goes" challenge! Here is a link if you want to play along:

I looked in my dictionary of card art adjectives to find one I could use to describe the magnitude of WOW this card evokes. Not surprisingly, there were no words. None. It's THAT genius, Peggy!! Hugs, Darnell
PS. Thank you for your kind comment today! When you got to the part about the sense of humor and how that's what you look for in a mate, I got all becited thinking you were about to propose! And then you went and talked about your husband. Talk about deflated. hee hee
