Mary gave us a very wide and varied palette for today's challenge. I decided to use all seven colors in the form of reinkers to "watercolor" the jar of pink hydrangeas.
The colors:
Blushing Bride
Daffodil Delight
Island Indigo
Lost Lagoon
Mossy Meadow
Pistachio Pudding
Strawberry Slush
Dessert: make a summer card. I went with flowers.
I used the "no-outline" technique shown on PTI's "Make It Monday"....the technique was also shown here on SCS in the past. It involves stamping the image with a VERY light color and then proceeding to watercolor. Reinkers and an aqua brush make easy work of it. The gray was made by mixing a blue, a green and a pink = a neutral.

Well first off I was so happy to see your name in the gallery today ..been missing you! The contrast you've achieved between the light and dark portions of the hydrangeas really make this a masterpiece. And I love the tinted blue mason jar...it's perfect! The gray shadows around and in the bottom of the jar are outstanding! LOVE IT!!
