Michelle's WT Challenge gave me the push to use this stamp. It seemed perfect for a springtime card. I applied the various inks to the stamp and misted with water before putting it to paper. I then came back in with Copics to define the petals and leaves. I thought about adding a sentiment, but then felt it would detract from the image....and when the right occasion arises, I'll put the sentiment on the inside. I like the clean look as it is.

This is a jaw-dropper! Your combination of stamping and copics makes for subtle detailing that only adds to the Monet-style look of the flowers. Love it! And I agree, a sentiment would have detracted from the beauty of the flowers. TFS!

Sallie, this is just so beautiful. I am so glad you left it as is - without the sentiment. I, too, think it would have drawn the focus off those beautiful tulips. Wonderful watercolor effect with your misting :-)

I do too. It's beautiful! I like adding Prismacolor Pencil to Copics to add more definition and depth. There are so many ways to add that little extra punch, thank you for sharing your creation with us today - it's a beauty!

So beautiful Sallie. Am loving all the watercolored cards that are appearing in the galleries these days. This one so gorgeous with the spring colors. LOVE the CAS design.
