I started this Acrylic Distress background piece intending to use it as a combined Mix-Ability and F4A challenge last week, but it wasn't the right sort of blue, so I set it aside, and it made a great background for my MMTPT296 card for Kathleen today - for which I also used an encouraging verse and red flowers to symbolise strength and courage.
For the base, I'd embossed a piece of card with TH circles, and painted it with blue acrylic. Today I sanded it and sponged it with green, as per the tutorial linked above, and edged it with gold EP.
Verse from ODBD cut with Floral Ovals, which is edged with Stickles.
Flowers from Verve stamped on red card, stamped over with Canvas and Worn Lipstick. I added a Penny Black butterfly stamped on vellum, and then from the back I coloured it with alcohol inks and then embossed it with silver EP.
