and would you believe I am not really all that funny? Well maybe just a little bit...really late at night when I only have myself to amuse! Thanks Ally for the easy on the gray matter sketch this week. I like the simplicity of the lines...
Isn't my lil' dinghy adorable??? Just all flirty with that handsome fella sharing the bench in front of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse near Newport, OR. The lighthouse is from a long retired set 'Coast to Coast'. My odd couple is an Art Impressions set...I picked it up at a tag sale years ago and knowing that ONE day it would make the perfect card. Well, 2day's the day!
I had a blast paper piecing the couple. He has jeans and a numbered 'T. She's wearing a new yellow oar, red leather pumps and a fancy tulle bow speckled with gold. I also fancy cut this image and mounted it on top of a cork diamond border from Tim Holtz.
Now I've just gotta figure out who would send this card of this sort??? Any ideas...

What a cute card. This little work of art, gave me the biggest laugh. I love it. Love the bow, and I love the sentiment. Thanks for the laugh, I'm still laughing. It's a fave. tfs.

I was digging through all my old SU sets just this afternoon and unearthed by Coast to Coast set. I love that set and it will always be in my classic collection of SU sets. Love how you have used it in an out of the box kind of way here.Your wit is always so charming in your work!
