Here is my card for the Tues., 2/14 Teapotter challenge. I used today's SC372. We are sending cards to Katy, a sweet gal who is having serious health issues. I had a hard time figuring how and what to camouflage so I went with the pink and red colors instead.
I have to thank Kittie for inspiring me to get out my MS and SU punches. Obviously, my florals are kindergarten to her Ph.D. florals but, hey, at least I took out some of my punches and you gotta start somewhere, right? Heehee!
THANKS for looking! Happy Crafting!
In case you want to know how I made my vase w/flowers: I punched out the black vase and decorated it. Glued it to 3-1/2" square I previously cut, pieced and backed with black. Punched out the green branches and glued them on.Punched out 24 each flowers and 1/2" black circles to glue the flowers onto. Used the black circles because the flower colors blended too closely with the background and I wanted a tiny bit of contrast. After all that work, the black is hard to see but ... . Used dimensionals to add a second flower atop the first one. Added red, clear or pink rhinestones to each flower. Used glue dots to adhere the finished flowers to the green branches. Punched a bunch more green branches and stuffed them here and there so knew where I wanted to glue them down. After a couple flipped to the white side I decided I liked those even better than the green side. And that's all she wrote ... thank goodness, huh?!?

What a gorgeous and glorious bouquet of flowers. No worries about not going with camouflage when you produce something like this - and some of the flowers are kind of camouflaged against the DP on the left ;-). Nice sketch, too!
