Today we are making simple cards and also send all the elements to the young lady named Lindsay who is going to be in the hospital taking extremely intensive chemo for the month of June. Lindsay will have a lot of time on her hands and can use the extra pieces to make cards of her own. I am sending basically the same thing just in another colorway. She can paint the rose to match. I hope we get to see her finished cards.
I stamped my Alias Smith and Rowe rose twice and cut out the leaves and part of the rose of one image to pop up. The rose was painted with watercolor and then I added some stickles. I embossed the corners with a Cuttlebug ef and added dew drops!! I used a couple of strips of MS border CB'd the background paper and decorated the envelope and VOILA!!

It takes me so long to colour my images that I never do the envelopes 'cause I'd never get anything done! Your roses are beautiful - love the paper pieced layers. The matching envelope is gorgeous to go with your gorgeous card! Lindsay will love creating one of her own!
