HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! I sincerely hope the New year brings you lots of great new beginnings and that it's filled with happiness for you my dear SCS friends!
I created this card for our House-Mouse bloghop found here: http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/ And it happens to fit the Challenge colors!! woohoo! My red (on olive & mouse tongue), white all over & for silver/gray (silver embellies, metallic silver paper & gray coloring) & the black is for my neutral. Dont have dessert option of ribbon, but have silver cording bow tied to my cocktail drink charm.
I'm still singing all those great New Year's Songs .... like Frank Sinatra's songs and the song that's constantly playing on the radio by my favorite band *U2* called; New Year's Day!
Here are the words:
All is quiet on New Year's Day. A world in white gets underway. I want to be with you, be with you night and day. Nothing changes on New Year's Day. On New Year's Day. I... will be with you again. I... will be with you again.
Under a blood-red sky, A crowd has gathered in black and white. Arms entwined, the chosen few. The newspaper says, says Say it's true, it's true...
And we can break through. Though torn in two, We can be one.
I... I will begin again,
And so we are told this is the golden age. And gold is the reason for the wars we wage. Though I want to be with you. Be with you night and day. Nothing changes On New Year's Day, On New Year's Day, On New Year's Day...
