*Edited to add* The re-inkers with the new labels (when they introduced the new colors last year) are much thinner than the old style re-inkers and they DO NOT REQUIRE WATER. I thought it might be the bulbs but it is the consistency of the ink. So if you use the re-inkers with the new labels then just drop the ink in, no water. Just thought I'd let you guys know!
Hey all! I think I finally figured out what works best for me with these re-inker ornaments. I tried several different ways. What worked for me was taking the bulb (pack of 12 from Hobby Lobby) putting 3 drops of water from my finger in it then putting 10-15 drops of re-inker inside. I swirled the water and re-inker around in the bottom a little bit before I cover all of the inside of the bulb. Then I turned it upside down on top of a baby food jar (knew those would come in handy someday!!!) and let the excess run out for about 15 minutes. Then, -and this is an important step- take the bulb when it is still upside down and tap the opening on a paper towel. The ink collects at the rim of the bulb and you have to get that off with a paper towel. Then just choose your glitter, dump it in, put the paper towel back over the opening with your finger and shake up. I was just doing it with iridescent (sp?) glitter with the first box ans then decided to see what other glitter would look like. I think silver is my fav. Anyway, from top left to bottom right.....

wow these came out awesome.I love the colors and the glitter never would of thought of that plus adding the water makes a differance to help spread it around and not use up so much of the reinkers.have to remember this one for next year.I have so many now.
