I did not have a dog stamp (boo hoo, must go shopping!)... so I found this digi stamp at Bugaboo Stamps. I printed twice on basic grey brown paper, and popped up the head. Printed on Blushing Bride for the nose, mouth and pads on paws. Inked it all. Ice cream cone is from Sock Monkey accessories. Even if you don't like the sockey monkey, his accessories are cute!
The dog house I was excited about! I traced a dog house die cut onto Poppy Parade cs, then cut out. Then I had a plastic woodgrain "mold" that is from the cake decorating aisle at Michaels. I bought it a couple months ago, and never opened the package till now. It was suppose to be for frosting... putting the embossed pattern on the fondant sheets. Well, I inked up the plastic, and ran it all through my big shot, and it worked!! I really like the result. The plastic is a flexible type, not like the texture plates. So I wasn't sure if it would hold up going through the big shot. Printed "Andrew" using computer font and punched out with modern label punch.
Sewing machine was still out from a couple cards ago, so I tried stitching again. Ran out of bobbin thread halfway through, and didn't notice right away, so I had to make sure that I stitched in all the holes the needle made! I have bad luck when I sew!
Cloud was cut on the cricut using Make The Cut software. I needed a cloud and do not have any of the dies. I guess now I DON'T need them!
This was a fun card to make, and I am going to get it in the mail today for Andrew!
TFL!

Holy smokes girl, is this ever fabulous? Let's talk creativity on this one. I love the dog, his house and felt and all those little critters on the lawn. Boy, will Andrew ever love this one. It's a definite knock-out.

Bow-WOW! This card rocks with all the cool colors, textures and the fun paper...but the best part has got to be the glittery good ice cream. What a treat! Thank you for making a card for Andrew! With love from Andrew's Aunt Mary Beth

The texture and colors on this card are fantastic! Love that puppy but that dog house is awesome. I guess if dogs can play baseball they can hold ice cream cones too - that is so fun! Great card - I know Andrew will love it.

Now I want to head out to Micheals to purchase some molds! It gives a different look than the embossing folders. You are so creative! I don't know what made you think to try this...but it is great. Thanks again for your help!!
