Hi! This card was made for several Challenges today: Clean And Simple-polka dots; Technique Lovers-Plaid Silhouettes; and Speedy's Friends Challenge-Thank you card.
Well, this card was pretty fun to make. I had this set still on my stampin' table, so that meant I HAD to use it! This bird is a silhouette with the flowers as "spaces." I inked the bird in Cote d' Azure Palette Ink and then used the EDGE of the Adirondack Pitch Black to create the cross hatches of the plaid.
The flowers were colored in with Memento Markers. I cut out the bird and then went around the edge with a Memento Marker (black) to "finish" it. I added dots to the edge and the edges of the panels.
The border was punched with a Martha Stewart Punch.
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 17 minutes.

I just love the colored in leaves and flower on the bird, and of course your dots. The plaid works so well on this image....that's why I had to find something else......didn't want to copy yours!
