Happy Tuesday everyone... Well this was going to be a CAS63 sketch challenge card with piercings... but - it ended up taking me a long time to put this together.... This is for today's Teapot Tuesday challenge - we teapotters are off to the Kentucky Derby . I thought it would be fun to ride in the Derby, so I found a couple of the other teapotters who wanted to race as well. As we are rounding the corner to the finish line - all I could hear was "GO GRANNIES GO"..
- See the story Here
This is also for today's colour challenge - apricot appeal, basic gray and sage shadow... Plus Monday's technique challenge - piercings. I drew and pierced the clouds...

Patricia, this is my favorite of all the teapot cards. What a fun concept and I love the lpierced lines on the track and the pierced clouds. The mountains in the background made from DP is so creative. I hope one of those grannies wins!

Well, isn't this cute! Even if they don't win, the ladies will have a good time for sure.

What a wonderfully funny card "Granny Magoo" is in the lead (I hope you remember the Mr Magoo cartoons) that's what this card made me think of! It is such a great card I love your pierced clouds and the stitched lanes, sooo creative.

OMG - it's the little old ladies of Pasadena! I'm LOL with an earworm of the Beach Boys. This is a super fun card - awesome take on the teaparty this week. Love the stitched lanes on your race track and the pierced clouds. Great mountain DP and an incredible scene. Love it!

Oh, my - what a creative way to use piercing.
I do not think ANYTHING is going to stop those grannies - especially with the goggles (googlie eyes, whatever...)
This has to be a prize winner. Go, grannies...
