As a former quilter, I was so excited to see the IC suggested by one of my favorite quilters- Bonnie (okstamper), and was inspired by this fabric.
I wanted a very special card for Lindsay, a young mommy-to-be, who was just diagnosed with Lymphoma. Please see Mothermark's thread for more info, and please PM her for Linday's address if you would like to send Lindsay a card.
When I saw this fabric, I went into my stash of treasured material, and adhered this sweet pattern onto a sheet of double sided adhesive and cut the squares with pinking shears. Once on the yellow paper, I stitched around the edges and thru the centers of each piece.
The House Mouse image was watercolored and the cup has green gems and a coat of Crystal Effects. Punched leaves and primas were added. The inside sentiment is from Thoughts and Prayers and reads "Praying for You" and I used one extra square of material to accent the wording.
Thanks for looking!
Edit- just checked Cindy's thread, check this out!

This is just so cute. The material, the quilting and the stitching along with that adorable image you did you wonderfully all adds up to another one of your beautiful cards! No wonder you are so good at the "quilted look" cards and with patterns and designs being a quilter!
Thanks for tipping us off to Vanessa's card in the favorite gallery. I will show it to her tomorrow. Hugs!

Oh, Pat, how extremely precious and so from the depths of your ultra warm and encouraging heart. I adore your perfect rosebud print and all that incredible sewing. I also hadn't heard the update on the baby or the name so thanks for sharing that, how cool and trusting, come what may...
