This is the card I created for this week's MFT Idol challenge. It measures 8"x4".
I first created the recessed window from Night of Navy cardstock. The topiary itself is created using the 3 different sized circle stamps in the set. I used the Rock n Roll technique with Mellow Moss ink first and Always Artichoke to roll the edges in. I then used the small starburst stamp in Mellow Moss ink to create the illusion of texture toward the center, and Always Artichoke on the edges....allowing the stamp to go just outside the line of the circle to create a more natural feel. I then stamped several Riding Hood Red flowers onto each circle using that same starburst stamp. I then applied Summer Flower Soft to them for texture.
The pot itself is stamped once on the background, then again on a scrap piece of paper. I added some sponging in Real Rust ink to add more rustic touches, and lightly embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then raised it up on mini pop dots. The ground was created by sponging on Chocolate Chip and Really Rust inks, using a post it note as a mask.
I created the tag for it by rounding the corners with a corner punch and using a slot punch to create a spot for the ribbon to slide thru. I again used the starburst stamp to add some leaves to the tag and some self-adhesive pearls for the 2 corners.
