Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Faux Mosaic.
Now, Speedy the Cat and I decided this was a great day to go through the 5 baskets of embossing powders I have...Yes...5 BASKETS! I know...I'm still hoarding....I LOVE embossing powder! Well...I found this sparkle filled embossing powder in the recesses of the 5th basket and decided to use it for today's background.
To make the back ground, I covered a scrap of white card stock with Terrifically Tacky Tape and removed the red liner. Next, I tore of scraps of 3 designer papers and placed them on the tape. Next, I poured the ENTIRE bottle of embossing powder onto the tape and tapped it off. To finish, I embossed with a heat tool!
The image is a paper doll stamp and dress from The Greeting Farm! I stamped both images and colored them with Copic Markers. Next, I cut them out. I CAREFULLY went over the headband with a VersaMark pen and embossed it in the red sparkle embossing powder.
