Happy New Year! This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: Ring in the New Year. Participants were to incorporate something SILVER into their design. I used silver BRADS and a silver butterfly!
This image is a full image! I CUT it apart! (Today my hands are killing me. There was NO WAY I could watercolor the "fawn" and stay in the lines....)So...I seperated the deer from the background to make water coloring easier.
I stamped the deer onto watercolor paper with Noir Black Palette Hybrid Ink. This ink is fast drying and WATERPROOF! Next, I colored in the body with Stampin' Up! markers. I used an aqua painter to blend the colors. I quick dried the image with a heat tool and added the dots onto the deer's back, turning it into a fawn! (I used an Inkssentials pen.) Then, I outlined them with a marker. I added the white under the neck, too.
The stream and bank were stamped onto a different piece of watercolor paper. I used SU! markers and an aqua painter to blend that area.
The sun and sky was down by sponging in the areas with daubers.
