This is for the ways to use it challenge today...use a white gel pen. 7 years ago I was sleeping in with my DH (then fiance) dreaming about enjoying a day together, as we had called in sick to work. He is a NYC police officer and I am a NYC Paramedic. God was watching us that day and for whatever reason I do not know, I am alive today and have a beautiful family to thank Him for. I will NEVER forget what I saw that day and I will never forget my dear friends who I lost. God Bless us all...

The saying on the card is so true...We lost a lot of wonderful firemen in my neighborhood. One family lost two heroes that day. My husband works 2 blocks away from WTC and he remembers that day like it was yesterday. God Bless

What a lovely remembrance. Thanks for sharing your story.
I was on a field trip with my middle school students. It's strange now having students that were too young to know what was happening that day.

Very moving tribute to a very somber day in our shared history! I can't even imagine being in the horror of New York on that day. I was in the midwest and it was still frightening, unnerving and surreal. God was truly with you and your DH that day and obviously has another plan for your lives! Thank you for sharing.
