This is my submission for today's Color Challenge - to make a monochromatic card. It is also for the Saturday challenge over at Our Creative Corner which this week was to make a birthday card. http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.c...challenge.html
I love using paint samples for monochromatic cards because they already give you different shades of the same color. I used a paint chip that had saffron as the color family. I stamped the flowers onto the paint chip with Versamark and embossed with saffron colored EP that was in a set I got from AC Moore. I did the same with the birthday sentiment. Ribbon and brads finished it off.
Thanks, Emily, for another great color challenge and Dawn, for OCC birthday challenge!

I'm not quite sure how to post a comment... hoping this is correct (obviously I am fairly new to all of this)... anyway, great card! I'll be adding this to my favourites folder to inspire me later... after I pick up some paint sample cards... what a terrific idea. Thanks for posting this for me to see.
