I'm making this cake for my friends baby shower this weekend. I couldn't find the paper at WalMArt or Micheals, but I found it at a cake supply store. Only .25 a sheet!
It's going to look great!

I have done this before, but used paste food colors made by Wilton's which I applied to the stamps with a clean paint brush. (Wilton's makes food colors for stamping on cakes, cookies, etc. Usually available anywhere Wilton's products are sold, i.e. Michael's.)

I forgot to mention in my last post that I stamped onto rolled fondant with the food colors. I also stamped flowers, cut them out and applied to the cake to give it some dimension. I did this as a demo a couple of years ago at one of our stamp groups quarterly meetings.

Wow! I had no idea you could do this. This is awesome! You did a fantastic job. TFS! Now I will have to try this for my sons birthday instead of making a cake out of the Wilton Cake Pan and spending hours icing it.
