I was looking through the gallery for some inspiration. Drawing a blank this morning. I found a
Flap Top Card and I thought fantastic. Just what I need.
BUT I also wanted a full size A2 card. I went to the forum and found the tutorial for a Flap Top Card and adjusted the width to measure 5 1/2", it was that easy.
I then thought I should make it look like and envelope so I cut the flap in the shape of an envelope flap. Voila, I had the shape of my card.
For my colors I used Pale Plum and Brocade Blue and WW to pick up the colors in the DP by DaisyD's that has a gorgeous flower pattern on it. I then stamped my image - a silhouette by 100 Proof Press in Stazon Stone Grey again to pick up one of the colors in the DP. I stamped my sentiment by Flourishes-Many Sentiments right over the DP and finished by added two different sizes of Pewter half pearls.
I hope that my daughter Terri likes it, I made it for her BD.
Used small magnets as the way to keep the card closed.
Let me know what you think of my full size flap card?

Wonderful Nicole! I love how you adjusted the template to make the card size you wanted, it's a lovely style of card. Very nice stamped image too and ove the soft colouring of the dp.
