Hi! This is my submission for two challenges, today's Color Challenge to use wild wasabi, almost amethyst, and so saffron, and the CCEEC challenge to try a new technique. Their technique was called faux silk, and it's really easy and fun! I did my background with a watercolor leaves background on tissue paper in wild wasabi ink, then crumpled it up, uncrumpled it, and glued it lightly to white cardstock. That was it. Now if you have blowing fans in the background, that could complicate things...
But, for me, the real challenge is layout and cutting layers straight, so the rest of this card took some time. Lucky for me I was able to borrow this blossoms abound image and had already stamped it on a scrap piece of paper so it was my starting inspiration.
As always, thanks for looking, and have an abounding day full of joy!!! Thanks for looking!!

Wow, Traci, what a spectacular card you've created. Your two-toned ribbon is gorgeous! and your image is colored to perfection. You always creat the most unique cards, and this is no exception. This is simply one gorgeous card, hands down. Just exqusite.
