I had this stamp set already scattered on my desk, so I figured I'd use it for todays challenge. I actually looked it up on the internet and there are purple poppies - so I didn't take as much creative license as I originally thought!
I wanted to keep this card fairly simple, but it just wasn't working out right so I had to keep adding layers and embellishments. The main image was stamped on Saffron and colored with copics. I sponged the edges with an inkessentials sponge applicator and Ranger Distress ink in brushed corduroy.
I was originally going to mount this on a white card base, but I wasnt' crazy about it so I cut it down with pinking shears then attached it to an amethyst base that was bugged with swiss dots.
Thanks for looking!

Michelle, this is absolutely stunning work. I love that beautiful poppy panel and coloring, the zigzag edging and stitching, the little heart button on the sentiment tag, and the ribbon treatment
