This is for a group of us who have a little fun with our challenges. This weeks challenge was to make a RAK card for someone on a list of four names chosen from the RAK forum. I however, recieved special dispensation this week as I had 5 cards to make for raising money for Cancer.
My magolia girl ( especially made for cancer recognition) - has a ribbon that is coloured in lime green.
Sometimes it troubles me that we only ever see pink associated with Cancer - and images of women... because breast cancer/ and women's cancers are but one of the many types on Cancer's that afflict and sometimes kill people.
This is my female version of my non hodgkins lymphoma card - as after all, women get it too.
Lime Green is the colour that represents Lymphoma, a blood cancer which took my dad's life a year ago.. over a period of 2 years.

Wonderful way to use your talent, Deb. My MIL has struggled with cancer off and on (now on) for the past 6 yrs. She's a fighter, but is now in palliative care. I believe this is the type she first started out with. Thanks for the insight on the green ribbon. You have an empathetic heart for this cause and you are a wonderful encourager.

This is beautiful Debzi. I hope you managed to get your other cards done and it's wonderful that you are raising awareness for this awful form of cancer. Great stuff and a great card. TFS

The designer paper is a wonderful match with the flowers that the little girl is holding. A beautiful compliment with the Edwin card. Just lovely!
