I have a thing for anything astronomy or astrology related. Therefore, I have a lot of stamps that fit this, lol.
Before I get started on the deets, let me ask a couple of questions:
1. Is there such a thing as too much glitter?
2. If so, is there a penalty for excessive glitter usage?
I sure hope not, or the glitter police will be calling on me. My main image (Toybox) is stamped w/ stazon onto acetate. The back side was colored w/ sharpies, then a puddle of clear drying glue was spread out and glitters sprinkled all over. Before it dried, I slapped it onto a piece of YY Yellow. This bright color really brings out the image and glitter. It was edged w/ the permopaque marker.
The orange textured c/s was bugged, blue pigment lightly rubbed across the embossed areas and heat embossed w/ Tequila Sunrise ep (Sparkle N Sprinkle). One piece is behind the image, two strips on each side of the bg piece.
The bg piece is a piece of work, lol. I used all the blue pigment inks DTP to white c/s, just here and there until it was covered. Then I painted w/ all the eps. A little of this here, a little of that there. Then I stamped all the various zodiacs and compass stamps w/ black pigment and embossed w/ black ep.
The image is slightly popped up. The dew drops look orange but are clear. I put a generous drop of orange stickles under them. The card measures 5 x 7. TFL

This is FABULOUS!!! I've done the glitter-the-back-of-acetate thing before, but not on this scale, and your background and details are wonderful! So, did this take all day and into the night, or what?! Gorgeous!
