Oh, sparklegirl, it's your day to shimmer and shine! What an excellent choice for the FS this April Sunday in '08! I love your style, each element carefully chosen for the role it is to play. Here is the card I decided to case LSC157 Petals Birthday by sparklegirl at Splitcoaststampers. I kept the layout and the beautiful simplicity.
I used a wonderful new image from B-Line Designs called the Foundation of Women. It is inked on white GP cardstock and then paper pieced (using Basic Grey Dasher Cranberry Snowfall and unknown red cs.) I matted the panel onto red and black cs and then used the Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dot embossing folder on the bottom red mat. My sentiment is also from B-Line and is stamped in Versacolor black and embossed in clear.
I think I like the Featured Stamper challenge the best...it allows me to try on styles I'd never dream I would fit into...but you know today, I'm sparkling too!!! Thanks so much for your comments and to Silke, you go girl!!!
