Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: DIY DP (Do It Yourself Designer Paper!)
Okay....I wanted to use Freud the Frog on this card. He's a Mood Frog and has a Cameo Coral belly today. Cameo Coral is a "confused" color! You see, Freud the Frog doesn't understand why he had to listen to me grumble about pinching my arm with the Crop-A-Dile...He can't understand how in the world the Crop-A-Dile could pinch the flabby part of my upper arm...Freud the Frog is not a woman, therefore, he has no clue about how sensitive we women are about our upper arm fat!!!!
I made the designer paper by using a straight edge and drawing lines with Stampin' Up! markers.
Next, I ran the Basic Black strip thru the crimper and added the Jumbo Eyelets, (these were set with my hateful Crop-A-Dile), ribbon & twine, and the charm. (I colored the charm FIRST with a Signo Pen.(It acted as a PRIMER!) Then, I added colors with Stampin' Up! markers!)
The focal image is from Gina K. Designs. I stamped it 3 times on Whisper white and colored each image. Next, I cut out the images and layered the legs.
The Cameo Coral card stock is HEAVILY sponged with Cameo Coral and Only Orange ink.
What do you think?

Great striped paper, Faith. Awesome card, as always! Now why is your frog confused? Is it just that Cameo Coral can't decide whether to be pink of orange? I'm confused.

Faith never Fails.....to amaze, that is. What a simple, but creative (I never would have thought of it) way to design your paper. I think it also is your extraordinary understanding of color, image and design that is so amazing as well. Love the way you did the frog charm, but am not sure I understand the technique. How does the color hold? Is there a way you fix it on the charm or does the Signo adhere that well?!!!
