I followed the rules, my main image panel is 1.5", I cut it first and *then* found stamps to fit. All I did was turn the sketch on its side. I had wanted to do a card with Fruit Stand but today's sketch wouldn't accommodate that so I turned to another fruity stamp set, hah.
Once I picked the strawberry stamp, the card kinda took on a life of its own. First came the polka dotted background, then the DP. I wanted to do a "you're so sweet" sentiment or something of that nature, but my eye happened to fall upon Smarty Pants and this sentiment--the fact that it came with its own polka dots was just an added bonus! I stamped it on a scrap of Celery and then stamped it a second time so that I'd have the polka dots both above and below the strawberry row.

So sweet. I just bought a flat of strawberries at the local fruitstand this morning. Hope they taste as yummy and your's look!
