This month the Dirty Dozen challenge is to make a card using old stamps and embellishments, stamps and embellishments we haven't played with for a while. Our restrictions are that we cannot use anything on the card that we've had less than six months. A bonus to the challenge is to use techniques that we haven't done in a while. Okay, so here goes: I chose Toile Blossoms, I've only used this set a couple of times; French Script has to be the very first BG stamp I purchased; gotta have that bee in there somewhere and I know I've had that set like forever! For embellies I used gold cord and retired organdy ribbon. I chose to use Yarka watercolors for this image as I had to make a mix to match the Memory Box card stock that I used. My "oldie" technique was aging and paint splattering. I used a toothbrush to splatter a watered down version of True Thyme on the background. The striped paper on the left is handmade using Very Vanilla and Cranberry paper. I used a craft knife to cut all the toile images.
