Well, the monkey wants you to get well, that is. The monkey is perfectly well...see? He's smiling. He's fine. You're not or you wouldn't need this card, but now that you've seen it, don't you feel ever so much better? I know I would.
This is for the Dirty Girl February 08 challenge, in which we were to use a stamp or stamp set designed by a Dirty Girl. And since Melanie Muenchinger (MelMel) so kindly had sent me some images of this darling set she designed, she got the nod!
I wanted a card that could be sent to a little boy...I design so many girly cards that I wanted the challenge of doing something for a boy. So flowers were out. Since we weren't allowed to use any die cuts, I went ahead and got out my old Martha Stewart punches to create the jungle peeking out from behind the matted monkey piece.
We were supposed to use a spring color combination...eh...this is only spring like in that it is GREEN and since I'm not seeing much of that these days (whether leafy green due to horrid winter weather or CASHOLA, either one, LOL!) I figure this counts!
