I can't believe I did it... 3 challenges in one card!! ok, so not that big a deal. I've done it before, and so have many of you. But it just happened, and came together, and I was excited about it!
I combined this weeks' CC133
with Wednesday's SC143
and Thursday's WT133
Thank you to Emily, Rox and Julia for providing so many inspiring ideas to get us stamping!
I had colored this image last week with Prismacolor pencils and didn't like how it turned out. This week I received a new order of Tombow pens with some great vibrant colors, so I colored overtop of the Prismas with them and spread the color with water. I then highlighted a bit with a white gel pen. I like how it turned out, and am rather surprised that I could combine the two mediums. Esp since I did not use wc paper, which the markers work better on. I guess the wax of the colored pencils provided a different surface for the water and ink and that is why they spread so well.

Thanks for looking!

Oh, yummy! I absolutely love this card! Love the images, love the coloring. How ingenious of you to go over the coloring with markers and the results are wonderful! Love that stitching and the ribbons behind the image. You are one creative lady. Gotta go out and get me an ice cream cone!

I am speechless...well, almost...your coloring is just TDF!! Your eye for color and the ability to highlight and shade is masterful!! Your design is fabulous, too, with all that sewing and the ribbon treatment!! To my faves!!
