Have you ever had one of those days when children, dogs, the telephone, grocery shopping, the doorbell, etc., seemed to conspire against you and your stamping? Well, it's been one of those days, so I feel pretty lucky to have finished this card!
Yesterday I received a shipment of the latest PaperTrey set (I LOVE Halloween, and Spooky Sweets is soooo cute! I also finally broke down and bought Faux Ribbon because I determined that I NEEDED -- yes, NEEDED -- those sentiments). And while I'm thrilled about using these new sets, they made me feel a wee bit guilty that Little Lady had yet to have the seal broke on her packaging. As I lovingly peeled my new sets from their plastic sheeting and placed them in their cases, I could hear Little Lady moaning in despair from the cupboard. So I vowed to her right there and then that no matter what the Color Challenge was, today I would let her see the light of day and roll her around in some ink. Fortunately, Emily was kind to her and let her first foray be in sweet shades of Groovy Guava and Soft Sky.
This card is for 88keys, who I've long been meaning to make something for. Shh... don't tell her! The layout is based on Beate's weekend sketch challenge.
Thanks for looking!
