This did take a while but part of that while was deciding on what image would work with it. The flower I tried was strike one, the stars – strike two then I settled for the sun and here is how it’s done.
I did some polished stone and direct to paper techniques and cut them in ¼” widths, then weaved them and found a place for them on the card and trimmed to fit.
More polished stone directly on the card. I added some classic ink in navy also. I then stamped on some images with navy and Brilliance white.
The sun was next. Its two images layered. I colored with re inkers and artist brush then ultra thick embossing powder was added.
I love doing cards like this, itÂ’s just a fun project and I have no worries of time when IÂ’m creatingÂ…itÂ’s supposed to be fun not a time limit!

I was waiting to see what masterpiece you would create when I saw the inspiration piece this morning. When I saw it I knew you would come up with a fantastic card and you didn't let me down.... Roxie this is fantastic! I love seeing your cards for the inspirations challenges. It shows that you really love the IC. Great job!
