Great color choice, thanks to Rachel for hosting the challenge today! (
The card has a glitter window that does not show well in the photo as I either got all glare from the glitter or no sparkle. It's really pretty IRL.)
First off, I knew I needed to make a Sympathy card today and hoped I could combine it with the color challenge. My thoughts last night were that whatever the color combination today, it would work unless the colors were in the bold brights family. I started out mounting my new Art of Life set (thanks stampinchristi!) and knew it would be perfect for a sympathy card. It somehow turned into a birthday card for my little grandma who adores purple. The flowers were done with watercolor wonder crayons and misting on the rubber before stamping. The glitter window was made by running a sheet of acetate through my Zryon and then adding the glitter to the sticky side. The large celery layer is dp from the new Pallette O prints stack that I cuttlebugged and sanded. The rhinestone circle was part of a stick pin that I took apart. So much for my sympathy card, I will get to that without getting sidetracked next....
