A friend asked me to make some sympathy cards for her using these Dragonfly and clock images, as well as these colors. This is what I came up with - I made six. I hope she likes them.
The Dragonfly is embossed with dark copper EP (Moonglow's Midnight Copper Obsidian). The wings are watercolored with the aqua painter and Twinkling H20's (Plum Blossom, Black Cherry & Wild Plum), the body with Chocolate Chip marker scribbled on plastic and then picked up with the aqua painter, and the surrounding square with Certainly Celery reinker. I used my Versamarker on the deckled edges and embossed with regular copper embossing powder.
Copper EP is also used for the clock face and sentiment. I created a circle reverse mask for the clock, masked off the center, and sponged with Certainly Celery. The sentiment was traced with the Certainly Celery marker for more definition. I also sponged the edges with Certainly Celery. All the Enchante designer paper layers are edged with the Perfectly Plum marker.

That was quite a challenge: being given the images and colors to work with. You really rose to the occassion. This is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love your gorgeous coloring and how you subtly darkened the clock.

This is a truly inspiring card, and I'm certain your friend will be very pleased with your hard work. You seem to have really put your whole heart into creating something for this friend, and the result is enchanting.
