This is for the Sketch Challenge SC116, a birthday card for my dear friend Linda (LABullard), who taught me how to make folded boxes out of cardstock. It is fitting that she should have a tiny box on her card! (Link to directions here- Gallery at Splitcoaststampers)
Inside the box is a tiny rubber stamp and some brads that are just perfect for her- I was tickled pink to find them! The tag on top of the box is actually the whole stamp on white Polyshrink, in which I punched 2 holes before I shrank it. I cut 2 slits on either side of the lid to allow me to thread the ribbon through it, and tie it on the top of the tag, with a lavender spiral clip. The right hand panel is raised on Dimensionals, and I used the Word Window punch to show the *special day* portion of the stamp on the panel below. The whole card is dusted with Dazzling Diamonds glitter, and lightly sprayed with silver spray glitter as well. I hope she is pleased.
Thanks for looking! Maddy

Wowza!!! It arrived today, and I am overwhelmed! Talk about a lucky duck! Maddy, this is such a special and over-the-top birthday card. I love blues and purples together, glitter, shrink plastic and dimension, so I'm LOVING this card! And the gift box on the cover contains the cutest little Rag Dog (shaggy dog) stamp and sheep eyelets. I have a French Sheep Dog (Briard), so these are definitely perfect gifts for me! And I love the clever way you tied the ribbon and swirl clip onto the box. Thank you so very much, Maddy! :o) Linda
