This is for Featured Stamper 04 challenge. Atomicbutterly is one of my favorite stampers and I was thrilled that Beth chose her for us today. I chose her card with Touch of Nature Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. I enjoyed using this same set last week and was inspired by Kelly's beautiful card to use it again. I changed the colors from her Kraft and Thyme to Chocolate Chip and Really Rust. I used waterc olor paper for my main image. I put a little corner tie across the top of the card instead of tying a tag tie. I used a baggie of rice pounced on the ink pad and then pounced on the rust and chocolate chip layer to creat a muted bg. I don't know if it shows on the scan. I ran my Well Worn Words layer across the rust pad to add just a little carry over of color from the rust layer and to age just a touch. I sponged More Mustard on the bird image to highlight and I added a little rust by using my wonderful and trusty little IBB stamp. I wanted that rust to follow from layer to layer.

Kittie, your cards are always gorgeous. My favorite part, though, is how you describe your process. It helps me to feel I could attempt a *kittie card* myself. Thanks for sharing your art.

A baggie of rice?!? How'd you think of that? Your BG turned out beautiful. I'm going to have to buy some rice! The whole card is just stunning. Great job!
