I was bummed when I got home yesterday and I still hadn't received my shipment from Oriental Trading Company. I ordered some of those tall bandaid tins to decorate and use for gift cards this Christmas. The TLC yesterday was perfect timing and I was hoping those tins would be on my doorstep. Since they weren't (boohoo) I decided to make my own gift card holder. I have no measurements for this little box.... just took a piece of paper and started cutting/scoring until it turned into a box. The scalloped oval on the front is a shaker. I punched a hole in the top of the box and tied the ribbon inside to create a loop so that the lid can be easily lifted off. I added some tissue paper and a Starbuck's gift card inside. Mmmm... Starbucks!

Taylor...first off, LOVE your style! I would like to know, where do you get these awesome oval and circle scalloped punches(manufacturer etc.a). I'm a temporary transplant in Brooklyn, NY and I don't have too many craft stores around me...unless I want to pay 9 bucks to cross the Verrazano Bridge, just to visit Micheals and Joanns(trust me, I have done it before...many times...but those tolls add up quick!!!)...lol
I couldn't post a response for your chipboard box, so I thought I'd try it this way. It is, by the way, gorgeous! Can you tell me where you bought your chipboard? (other than a restaurant) Thanks!
