I hope this card counts! This was a difficult challenge for me. I embossed the image with vanilla EP and blended with a Marvy blender pen and Stampin Pastels. I didn't like the way it looked so I sprinkled on Dazzling Diamonds; a little better. Then I used gold embossing powder and created a background paper using a smaller stamp in the set on Real Red paper. I used the SU markers for coloring on the background. Still not liking the image, I got out IBB and embossed around the image and then sponged gold on the edges with ColorBox pigment ink, then I topped it off with a gold bow. Not sure how I feel about this card, it's not a total loss, but certainly not something I'll try again.

Jerri, You have more "stick to it" than I do. I got half way through two different cards and tossed them as I was so unhappy with the outcome. This is beautiful. At least you know you can do the technique if you have to. It just seems that me and pastels just don't jive.

Now you know this is a beauty -- and if you don't I'm telling you now. The gold is awesome and makes it so elegant and your tied bow in gold was an awesome finale touch.
