I've been wanting to try out an arched top for a while after seeing it as part of a billboard design. I wanted to keep the design clean and simple but I'm not quite happy with it yet...I think I will have to think about it some more. Anyways, I've run out of time, so here it is.
I took the white sheet of cardstock and cut a semi-circle with the circle template, then carefully cut the top straight edge with the paper trimmer and then cut the sides and bottom from there. For the mat...I used the companion circle template to get a nice thin mat. I put the caribbean paper behind the white and stuck with removable adhesive. I lined up the circle template, cut the almost semi-circle and then cut the rest of the mat from there. I used a paper trimmer but perfect layers would be easier if you have it. Centre of the daisy is covered with crystal effects and microbeads.
