The challenge is to draw on your card and this is my clown. When I first started making cards for Keiki I didnÂ’t have stamps and this funny guy is one of the images I drew for cards.
I used to draw in stripes, polka dots, squares etc to decorate the clothing but now that I have stamps I used post itÂ’s to mask the area and stamp. It took no more than five minutes if that. So much easier this way! To bad my cards didnÂ’t look as nice back then, thank you SCS stampers for all the inspiration!
The image is colored in with blender pen and pad ink. I sponged the edges of all the layers and those are real thread and needle cross stitches. The sentiment is just written inÂ…thatÂ’s why itÂ’s far from perfect and should be on the other side!

Gee Rox, you didn't tell me you were an artist too.... This is fabulous! This clown should be made into a stamp. It would sell like hot cakes. I'd buy the first one. By the way, I think the sentiment is fine where it is.

This is so cute. Who didn't do this with their kids when they were little? What a great idea to remember it in a card! I love your little guy. I can't draw anything.
