This is going out to our dear Cheryl (CherylQuilts) who is having a serious health issue. She is the sweetest person and one of our biggest cheerleaders here on SCS. For her card I went with a mixed media design. I started by taking some old sheet music and applying gesso. I then did a faint stencil design on the bg sponging with a citron ink. The blossoms were stamped off the edge and then watercolored using twinkiing H2Os. I love those shimmery watercolors. Come play along in the Teapot Tuesday challenge this week and send dear Cheryl some cheer.

Polly, this is gorgeous. Love how the flowers float over the bg. The embossed bg and framing add your signature vintage touch. Cheryl is sure to love this.

Absolutely love the sheet music peeking through and that image and coloring are gorgeous Polly. I sure miss our SCS cheerleader Cheryl and hope she is doing well. I am sure she will be thrilled to bits getting this gorgeous card in the mail.

A beautiful - peaceful card. A lovely background as well. I know Cheryl will like this card - as she uses a lot of blue and little stitched frames in her work too. Love the Power Poppy spray of blossoms.
