I am this week's Inspiration Challenge hostess and I found a really cool site called Ten Thousand Villages. It all started when Edna Ruth Byler took a trip to Peurto Rico in 1946. Edna was moved by the beautiful needlework created by the women as well as the poverty they lived in. She began by bringing pieces home to sell, then she involved her Mennonite community in helping and as a result Edna was instrumental in beginning the Fair Trade movement!
So this week when you click the site you might want to read a little bit about their story and their history.
This was quick and fun to create. I added a bit of distress ink brushed in a circle and sprinkled with a splatter of water. Next, I stamped and die cut the cute fish image. Lastly, I added the sentiment.

This CAS fish card is so fun! Your take on the piece you chose for inspiration is amazing - love that you were able to come up with a clean and simple interpretation. Popping this into my Favs! TFS
