For today's challenge our inspiration was from a site called Quoras - I found a beautiful pastel palette for my inspiration. I tried everything to attach it here to no avail - suffice it to say it was a blend of lilacs, pinks, yellows and blues.
I got this stamp in the mail yesterday and wanted to use it on a mother day card. She actually looks to the left but I wanted her looking to the right so stamped onto the back side a vellum overlay. Colored with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I stamped the sentiment in Ruby and embossed with gold powder. To finish, I added a bit of stickles stardust to the wings and dress and a scattering of iridescent sequins (most of which don't show in the the photo but are quite effective IRL.
Whoo hoo - only 3 hours of trying to find a backdoor to add my inspiration piece . . . .HERE IT IS!!

Beautiful Mother's Day card. Interesting how you wanted the fairy to face in the opposite direction. As I speak, I've got an image on my desk that I plan on doing a water reflection with this technique. LOL. Your mother is going to love this card.
Thank you for selecting my feather card as a favourite of the week. Hugs.
