Thanks ravengirl (Toni) for encouraging us to Forget the Mower with todays Ways to Use It. But I've got a lawnmower stamp with a lawnmower MAN! I must use it!
Here's why: have you ever heard the saying, cost per use? I used that years ago to justify a pair of high heels I just 'HAD' to have. Let's say, if I were to wear them 100 times, it would only cost me 'x'. Well, not only did they ruin my feet like some kind of medieval instrument of torture, but I totally did not get my monies worth. Stamps will never hurt you. And my Gumbo Graphics lawnmower/man was found at a garage sale years ago...just waiting...and today's the day.
The Rubber Moon Mid Century Modern house sits on top of a hill in a new housing development. The grass is freshly planted. And it definitely needs mowing.
I used Copics to color the house. Glossy Acents for the windows. The Basic Grey Cloud dp was embossed with the Darice 'Cloud' folder. I paper pieced with scraps of Basic Grey greens, some had already also been run through an ef. Fussy cut the Basic Grey French Script like little fresh blades of grass. I also used green vellum and Washi tape.
The fun sentiment ' I think I shall never see a rubber stamp that I don't need' was fussy cut and placed on trees and the lawn.
Thanks for the very fun prompt, Toni! I had such fun finally using that .25 stamp. Thank you for stopping by for a look today...gotta mow and keep up the neighborhood!

An amazing scrap busting project! Paper piecing intrigues me so, and you do it so very well with your controlled, wild abandon. Love how this reads with all the different shades of green and patterns. Kind of reminds me of the place on the corner of 33rd and Donald.
