Ah yes, who can resist Dr Seuss? Only bah humbugs and maybe the Grinch...but not me! Thank you, Brenda for bringing us our Inspiration this week from fineartamerica. Who couldn't be inspired by their
enormous selection!
It was this Only You Can Control Your Future canvas print that launched my Happy 30th today! Bet you can imagine my joy pursuing the Target insert in my local newspaper recently and spotting a celebration of reading AND all things Seuss...of course I had to save the Cat in the Hat and those perfect balloons.
I backed the images on heavier CS. Fussy cut the small Happy Birthday Book, too. Set them aside to make a card for a young friend at work...well 30 is young in my book! After spotting the selection of Seuss on fine art America, it was only a matter of selecting DP...Basic Grey's 'Lime Rickey' (Ethel, where's Lucy)? I cut both the atomic boomerang and the star from the Sizzix Tim Holtz thin-lets. Added the rhinestone trim, her name really is PI, and the bold 30.
Please leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite Dr Seuss story is? Lately I'm having fun with . Thanks for stopping by.

Fun and fabulous Susan... I couldn't pick just one... We had a large collection for our youngest who is 30. He loved to read and would read them over and over again.

I didn't have a lot of favorite things about working for Target but I did enjoy when we team members could read Dr. Seuss to kids on national read aloud day, which I think is this coming Saturday. They stopped doing that my last couple of years, which made me sad. I'd always get comments from other team members and leaders that I was good at it. My favorite Dr. Seuss book is the Butter Battle Book. I love love love your card, maybe I need to start taking the paper again.
