When I looked in my "I might use that one day box" this card just about made itself. I had colored a coloring page with this tea cup on it last year....at the last minute I got food on it. Not a good idea to color and eat lunch at the same time. The rest of the coloring page was ruined, but I was able to fussy cut the tea cup and save at least that part. The half a die cut doily was a left over from another card and so was the strip of faux wood.
I added this for the CT019 because of the faux wood. When I looked in that gallery I noticed that Diane (DCInkit) and I had similar ideas. So go check out your stash of leftover stuff and play in this week's F4A challenge. TFL, Francie

Fabulous! Love the brightly colored teacup with the doily and the wood-grain. We did have a similar idea. Great (& creative) minds think alike! So glad you could rescue the teacup and put it to such good use. The steam and enamel hearts are nice touches. The checkboard frame is terrific. You made a wonderful card for the Winter Woods theme and for sending warm thoughts to someone enduring the cold weather. Love it all! TFS

That is a really pretty teacup and that hot steam looks so warming right now. Super card, as usual, Francie. I have a "might use that someday" drawer or two....rarely take anything from it, though. I forget or don't want to dig through. Just too lazy, I suppose.

That tea cup was definitely worth saving, it's so beautiful! Love the little scene you made with the doily on the wood "table" and the yellow background, all framed with the black and white border. Totally gorgeous!
